Heather Johnson is a yoga lover on a journey to learn, grow, and eventually learn to hold a handstand longer than 2 seconds! She is completing a 500 Hour RYT training at Infusion Yoga with Corena Hammer. She has taught hatha yoga classes off and on for the past 5 years (in between having babies!) and has studied Ashtanga yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Ayurveda and is a big believer in meditation and living true to yourself and your dreams.
Yoga became a more constant part of her life about a year ago when she found the stress of life becoming too much to handle and that long intense running sessions were just breaking her body down. While she still runs and enjoys taking on a marathon or triathlon at least once a year, yoga has become her mainstay to feeling healthy, strong and balanced. She also hopes it will be her fountain of youth as she starts knocking on 40 in a few years.
A mother of 4 beautiful children and married to an amazing man for close to 2 decades, yoga has blessed her life and she hopes to share a bit of that with others through this blog.
